What is your opinion about Immigration?

First, I think that the immigration is taken as a nowadays problem because the globalization, the technology and the reduction of the distances have made that people can move around the world in a more easily way compared to other times. But is something that ever happened in our world, since the first human step the planet, in greater or lesser extent. 

So, I think that create laws that restricts the mobility and search of new possibilities in other countries or continents is absurd because is totally natural for the humans move of a place to other, especially when the situation of their territory or nation is dangerous to their life.

Then, exists multiple situations that can make people move to other place, from search a new job to the devastation of a war. And it is for that what many times the human movement is forced by external components more than just own initiative.

Also, the immigration could help to our society to be more varied, flexible and multicultural, thing that can make that people open their minds to other realities. Specially in Chile, because my country before was very homogeneous and close to new things, but the new people that arrived have changed the panorama and they have enriched our culture.

Finally, I think that we need be much more tolerant and compressive before criticize and talk about the immigration as a bad thing, because everyone could happen for similar situations and all of us have the same rights at the moment of deciding change of home, city or country.
