2018 Have you so far had a good year? Until now I can say that my 2018 has been very good, with many achievements in the university and new experiences, but I think I have not been able to enjoy it to the fullest because of the academic demand in my career. Then, I would begin with the good things that happened to me this year. I could say that I being making new friends every day in my university. Friends who have different points of view and life stories, and they make my day more interesting and funny. Also, another good thing that happened to me is the arrival of my new dog “Puppo”. My pets and Puppo make my life happier. Many times things don’t seem to go very good in my life, especially because of the stress cause by my career, not sleeping for finish jobs and get depressed by the fatigue of the week, but this is often rewarding with new learnings and good grades. Therefore, I can say that it has been worth the effort during both semesters. After of the things what...

How I think my future job? https://www.designspiration.net/save/168682759103/ First, I would like to work as an Architect restoring or enabling the architectural heritage of the cities for the people. I would like to work at an Architecture office with minimalistic spaces, with different types of interior plants and with a lot of natural light. Also, I would like to work in a friendly and equitable ambience, because I think what the workspace is very important to make to feel right with your job. A thing what I really wish in my future job is what this allow me to travel a lot around the world to know different cultures, architecture styles and realities of life, what helps me to ameliorate my perception of the world and my process of design, with a major spectre of knowledge. Then, a less important factor for me was the salary of this job, because I think what the most important is work in a labour what fills you emotionally and what you feel great with you do. Bu...

Santiago isn’t a planning city? When we see in google Earth the extension of Santiago we could be impressed of the large areas of only residential use, like condominiums or private villages in the periphery of the city, that have a few of public services and are very far from the downtown and the principal activities that the city offers. First, despite of the “tranquillity” what offers the houses in the suburbs, to live in this areas of the city means more hours in the public transportation for arrive to work or even remoteness of the programmatic and recreational activities of the city, what finally ends isolating people in their square meter, also of the fatigue and stress what causes moving long distances and what force people to use the car, for being the only transport what could cover this zones, because the public transportation, the most of time, don’t have service to the periphery. Above mentioned is a reality what happens in a lot of districts of Santiago, and this...

Why Architecture? I chose to study Architecture because since that I was a little kid I felt attracted by the buildings and its different forms around the world. Even when I was in the school I draw cities and imaginary buildings during boring classes. In a few words since always I think that Architecture was my career. But, at the time to choose my first career, I chose Civil Construction because I received a lot of bad comments about Architecture, like that the career was so difficult or comments like that I will not have free time If I study Architecture.   Nonetheless being in Civil Construction I had a close up to the things what to do the architect, like the design and creative process, thing what convinced me to follow my real vocation and lose my fear to the failure. Then, already studying Architecture I feel really nice with myself in spite of the comments of the career what I received are true!!! I chose the Universidad de Chile for its trajectory how first U...
